From conducting market research to defining project timelines, every step challenged me to grow and apply my skills in project management and digital optimization. I was paired up with a truly compatible and communicative team, and despite all of us coming from different backgrounds, communication was key. Mindy Tindall was also a great mentor, always being on top of everything and offering support whenever needed. Being in cold and gloomy hospitals a large portion of my life, Biotecture Inc.’s vision has truly resonated with me and being able to contribute to its breathtaking mission reaffirmed my commitment to creating meaningful solutions through technology and teamwork. I am Jobanpreet Kaur, and I got an incredible opportunity to contribute to Biotecture Inc.'s digital platform development project. My role was focused on conducting market research, creating a project outline, and conducting extensive research on accessibility assignments.
… Throughout this journey, I have acquired some solid and worthwhile experience as well as critically the necessary skills in market research, project management, and team collaboration and communication. I also developed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills by stepping out of my comfort zone to make a valuable contribution. The project outcomes were indeed fanatic, as we have established a platform serving as the basis for Biotecture Inc. to set up and collaborate at the international level. This project is a very effective initial measure toward making the company’s vision of backing upcoming talent and advancing architectural innovation a reality.
Looking back at this journey, I can only feel indebted to Biotecture Inc. and Mindy, as well as my teammates, for their advice, encouragement, and cooperation. At the dawn of this project, I was a newbie in research and had just minimal knowledge of presenting a project via digital media. Nevertheless, the team spirit, coupled with a friendly atmosphere, was instrumental in my growth both in the personal and professional sense. I acquired the skills of professionally interacting with people and effectively communicating, which I will employ in my career. Thank you for giving me such a great and changeable experience.
